Shelter provides welcome respite from cold winter night

At the beginning of January, a group of dedicated volunteers opened the “Out of the Cold” shelter for homeless men. Over the course of three months, 30 men were given a warm place to sleep and some hot food in a friendly and supportive environment. In late March, as they were winding down operations for the season, Mark Leger spoke with shelter director Jillian Driscoll in the office/store room at the shelter at Grace Presbyterian Church.
